Project: Interactive Reading for Children.

Post by lincolnlam »

Hello, my name is Lincoln. I am currently researching a project based on creating an interactive experience to encourage children to read.

If you could take the time to fill out a short survey it would be greatly appreciated.

If you are interested in the development of my project I will be placing updates online on my website. Thank you, have a great day. :D

Your study is very interesting and hopefully you will find new ways to get children, and adults reading more.

My degree is in Special Education and I have taught in traditional and Montessori schools. The Montessori approach is very hands on and experiential. I worked with 3 to 6 year olds so I have seen that first glimmer of reading and the excitement of doing it themselves.

I am currently a submissions editor for a publisher of short stories. This publisher's goal was to provide a new way of reading and enjoying fiction. To find publisher's blog search short scary stories; wrong world
You might want to take a look at this new medium for reading offers free classical stories to read online, on PDF and free printable booklets. They also have original short stories based on the Twilight Zone concept - the stories are produced on DVD-Video and PDFs (and soon on iPhones, iPods).

Love to know what you think of reading stories on TV with music, narrator opening and closing, credits etc.
