Travel memoir

Post by Tamás Pintér »

Our lives are a long interconnected series of ordinary and extraordinary journeys. We live as long as there is a train to pick us up and take us to another station in life. However, we must think carefully about which direction we are going to take when there is still a choice. .. and of course it doesn't matter whether the 7.20 fast train is speeding past us on the other track or coming opposite us on the track we think is ours.

Feedback to the reviewer.
Thanks to Anih Merits for a focused and respectful review!
I particularly appreciate the assessment of the writing style, since the original Hungarian version, which caused a lot of headaches for both the translator and the proofreader, has been transformed with a lot of work into a composition that can convey a message to the English-speaking reader. It is a great pleasure for me to see that the issues that were crucial for the writer have been identified and have appeared in the work of Anih Merits.Thank you for that!

I never thought I would write a memoir.
Not even when friends hinted for the umpteenth time that, after so many hikes, such a deep attachment to a particular geographical place cried out for a framework for others to explore.

The plateau to the west of the Rocky Mountains has provided a varied and unique setting for a famous period of recent history. The enterprising brave, the unscrupulous murderers, the devout in their faith and those who just got things done ... They were the characters in stories of reality and fiction projected onto the big screen. This is how the world came to know the land of red sandstones, of seemingly endless forests clothed in gold, of rocky deserts and canyons. The most imaginative of these is the Colorado Plateau.

Almost every time I'm hiking, I stop at the National Park Visitor Center, where long rows of books await the beauty-seekers to take one home.
I've been imagining my books on these shelves for years.

A beautiful piece! With hundreds of color photos, maps and practical information, the real strength of this book is its stories. They are the spice that gives spiritual food the power to make its way to you, featuring itself apart from the rest.
I would be delighted to hear stories of the market introduction of similar works
