What book did you just finish?
Persepolis 2- Marjane Satrapi
I've never read a graphic novel before Persepolis, but these two books are really amazing-- they take place during the Islamic revolution. I would recommend this book to anyone who wanted a light/quick read. I'm an English Sec. Ed. major-- so most of my reading is adolescent lit.

What's your favorite genre/time period?
fiction/ modern & post modern

Charles Dickens, Milan Kundera

The Great Gatsby- F. Scott Fitzgerald

The Hobbit by JRR Tolkien. Does that count?

What book would you recommend to everyone?

Right now? The Host by Stephanie Meyer because so many people bad mouth Twilight, they need to understand that she really can produce fantastic adult literature. Also Lilith's Brood by Octavia Butler.

What are you reading right now? "It's Kind of a Funny Story" by Ned Vizzini.

What is your favorite "classic"? I honestly have not read any classics, but on my bookshelf I have 'Wuthering Heights' and 'Atlas Shrugged.'
