I sometimes get reading too fast and then I feel like I need to go back and reread in case I missed something too; that happens more the longer I've been reading.
That is so true, especially when the book is by my favourite author, I'll keep reading for hours on end, the most I have done is 6 hours in a single setting. But by then I had a massive headache too
But for some reason once you get engrossed you started going so fast you have to re-read some of the parts of the story again.

The book that I find interesting I can read them for about 3 hours in one sitting. I really like reading books and it is more then a hobby for me now.

I have little kids so the only times I have to fully sit down and read is their 2 hr nap time and after their bed time, and I typically try to read like all of it until my husband is done with whatever he’s doing for the night.

If its a good book I can easily sit for the whole 2 hr nap time reading.

I can actually read all day if I really like the book but when I'm distracted I can last a maximum of an hour and a half

It very much depends on the book for me, but if it's something I get sucked into, I will read for 5-6 hours straight. (This is obviously on a weekend or day off where I don't have other plans, and doesn't count getting up to use the bathroom, answer a couple texts, get a snack, etc.) On a typical night though, or with a typical book, it usually ends up being more like an hour, hour and a half.

When I plan to read, then I have to read! There has to be a gum to chew, a cup of tea to sip or some pop corn to keep my mouth busy. This also keeps away distractions such as ''sleep''
