I read the novelizations of a lot of the Star Wars movies and I enjoyed them a lot. I actually liked them better than the movies. The Star Wars prequels were pretty bad movies but the novelizations were much better.

Just giving some recomendation. Its usually the opposite. There are some good Indonesian films that originate from books, such as "Gadis Kretek," about women's struggles during colonial times and their love stories. There's also "KKN di Desa Penari," a horror story about students doing community service in East Java.
Your Sincerely

The concept of books based on movies is definitely an interesting one. While it might seem unusual at first, these books can offer a unique perspective on a film's story, sometimes providing additional details or expanding on elements that the movie might not fully explore. The Godfather is a great example of this, since the book was written first, and the author also co-wrote the screenplay, and it became even more successful than the book.
