Sometimes I do this because I want to know the total pages, and during my teenager years I did that a lot until I got spoilered about an important event. So, although I try to be careful I can´t help to skim a little or even in the same page I am reading out of curiosity haha.

I want to be surprised by the ending and hope that the story is so good that I can't put the book down until it's finished.

Never! That would ruin the book for me. I already don’t like when an author foreshadows too much or writes a predictable story. I don’t want to spoil it for myself. I don’t reread books for this reason.

I don’t anymore, largely because my Kindle is my main reading source, but when I was a teenager I always did! It never felt like a full spoiler because there’s so much to learn still about how they got there.

Typically I don't. I want to experience the twist and turns of the book before getting to the conclusion or the end.

I have only done this in very specific situations. If I am reading a book that I am not sure I can bear to finish (very, very rare), I'll skip ahead to see if it gets any better later on.
