It is my favorite way to relax before I go to sleep at night. Usually I fall asleep with a book on my chest, face, or on the floor. My wife was always mad that the bedside lamp stayed on. The new Kindle that way wife got for me for Christmas has fixed that problem. It has a backlit display, so I can turn out the lamp and keep reading. The Kindle usually winds up somewhere in the bed.

I do enjoy reading in bed if I can get into a comfortable position. But if I'm reading at night and it's a good book, I'll never fall asleep!

I love to read in bed but unfortunately it doesn't make me fall asleep. Usually I am so gripped by the book that I will read until three or four am and then wake up feeling exhausted.

I like to read in bed, it's nice, but usually I either end up on my stomach with my hands supporting my head (which eventually starts to put too much pressure on my elbows), on my back with my arms holding the book up (which tires quickly), or on my shoulder which eventually makes me sleepy; so I prefer to read sitting down, but not laying down.

Yes! I love to read when I'm in bed, it really relaxes me before I sleep. I can't actually sleep without reading before bed. Generally though if I do read during the day I love to read in bed because in my room I have books everywhere and it calms me down! :)

I love to read in bed. That is usually the only time I read and I can't wait till bed time so I can continue my book. I look forward to it all day!

In bed is my favorite place to read. This is why I love Ebooks, no more fumbling with a book and a book light.

I love reading in bed. I do have to be over the covers though if I want to stay awake and read. Once I get into bed I get sleepy right away. It's just that comfy.

Without a doubt, my bed is like my haven for reading. It's like the magic carpet in Aladin that transports me to a 'whole new world'.

Absolutely, but only when reading for pleasure and not when I need to finish a book on deadline or when I am studying a book in-depth. In bed I am just too likely to fall asleep, which is pleasant enough when reading for fun. I certainly favor regular books for this type of reading, though. Who wants to snuggle with an e-reader?

Usually I like to read sitting up. Sometimes I'm unable to put a book down and sitting for a long period of time becomes uncomfortable. Then I start pulling out all the weird reading positions. Or if it's late at night I'll lay in bed and read. But that's how I end up staying up past my bedtime... by 5 hours...

Absolutely! Adjust my pillows just the right way. Have a fan blowing a cool breeze. A cold beverage or hot beverage nearby, depending on your preference. Tucked into the comfort of my bed, a good book fits perfectly in hand makes a night to yourself so relaxing.

Yes, I used to love to read at night before going to sleep. I also encouraged my children to read each night before bed. When they were little, they were expected to be in their rooms preferably on their beds reading or looking at pictures 30 minutes before their bedtime. This worked great up until the tween years when homework took over. Two out of the three children are still avid readers.

Definitely! Isn't that the best place to read? I love Stephen King at night or a good graphic novel.
