Leadership: In Turbulent Times by American historian Doris Kearns Goodwin was the last book I finished. It focuses on the leadership styles of Abraham Lincoln, Theodore Roosevelt, Franklin D Roosevelt, and Lyndon B. Johnson. I gave it 4 out of 5 stars (only hitting all my feels gets a 5/5 from me usually).

I was finally able to finish Angel of the Overpass by Seanan McGuire

The book was fighting me because I was worried it may be the last of her Rose Marshell books. However, after finishing it, I can't imagine her not writing another one (so many unimaginable things happened!).

To those curious, Rose Marshell is a ghost. She's the Phantom Prom Date, and the Girl in the Green Silk Gown, and countless other iterations of the girl you pick up and take home just to have her disappear. And her adventures start in Sparrow Hill Road (which I highly recommend).

However, they do have spoilers to her Incryptid series, so read at your own risk.
Pronouns: She/Her

Finished The Complete Grimoire of Pope Honorius (I evocated a demon to forward myself to October, so yeah, I can read horror already!). I now have learned how to do the evocation of demons. Sadly you have to believe in religion for it to work... There's always a trap. Anyway, the graphics were kinda cute. And the invocations and charms well explained. It makes sense it was so popular in medieval times. 4/5

Just finished Forbidden Rites: A Necromancer's Manual of the Fifteenth Century by Richard Kieckhefer. Pretty disturbing. Specially the use of children on the rituals. 4/5

The last book I've read was an ARC read of Tayma Tameem's Rulers of the Galaxy. It was pretty good. There were some really dull chapters on there, but the plot twists were AMAZING. I rated it 3 out of 4 stars.

Finished Misery by Stephen King. Good suspense and characters well described. It wasn't as scary as I was hoping, but the traumatic ending was worthy. 4/5

Finished House of Leaves by Mark Z. Danielewski. I was pretty impressed! Such a good book. It's a little hard to follow because of the structure of the writing, changing timelines, characters pov and the story itself... BUT! Still, if you give it your time you won't be sorry to read it! Totally recommend it! 5/5

I just finished Portals by Jon D. Zimmer, and I gave it a 2 out of 4 stars. It had interesting themes but ultimately wasn't exciting enough.

The last book I read was Plume of Fire by Marie Fostino. I gave it a 2 out of 4 rating because I was interested in the storyline but disappointed with the plot. Her characters didn't come to life.
