No. I like the satisfaction of reading a book from cover to cover. I feel like I might miss somd relevant information.

I never skip pages. I even struggle when reading a newspaper not to read every article simply because it is there!

If I ever do feel tempted to skip pages then this means that the book/writing isn't good enough to grip me and I will just leave it there and not finish it - I have on occasion read the end just to check that it is as bad as I thought and I have never yet been wrong/tempted to go back and give it a proper go!!

I only skip pages or lines if a book has completely lost my attention, but I want to see where the story will end up.

I would never skip pages, while reading a book. I read at a lower speed than I am capable, just so that I can truly delve into every idea and thought shared. If I were to skip pages, than I might miss important parts of the story, and, therefore, not understand what is going on.

I tend to skim read if the story is boring but I have never skipped whole pages or chapters. I feel like every word was written for a reason and it would be rude to skip through an author's work.

I never skip pages. Sometimes, I take a peek at the end of a chapter or a book but I never skip. I feel like if I do, i'm going to miss something terribly important.

Sometimes I slip into my speedreading mode. I don't feel like I have to read every word in order to understand the whole paragraph.

At times I do skip pages when the suspense is too intense and I cannot wait any longer to know the mystery. Though I do not like doing this I try to avoid it but at times I just can't stop myself :)

The only time I will skip a page is when there is a sex scene that isn't necessary to the plot of the story or development of the character.

Absolutely not.. I don't want to miss a thing! Plus, suspense is a thrilling and exciting thing that I enjoy, reading every single word of a book only makes it that more suspenseful and exciting.

I guess it depends on the book. I have caught myself skipping several pages because I had gotten bored. However, most times I like to read word for word. I have even fallen asleep while reading (the book was that boring!)

I skip a bit here and there. I really try not to but sometimes I am inpatient and want to know what is going to happen. I have to really focus at the end of the book because that is when I tend to read to fast to pick up everything I need to know when I am in a hurry for a happily ever after.
I do however skip sex scenes in books if I feel like there are just to many of them and it starts to take away for the story.
