The last book I read was Lisa Tuttle's dark fantasy "The Pillow Friend".

It was unique and incredibly atmospheric, but it wasn't what I was hoping for and at times it dragged quite a bit. So my final rating is: 3.5/5

Can't agree more, it is a fantastic book. I have just finished Shutter Island by Dennis Lehane. Very spooky and full of suspense, it is very short and is the type of book that you want to read again and find things you missed the first time. :)

Honestly, the last book I read was was Aunt Eater Loves A Mystery. I read this to my child last night. I kept reading it even after she fell asleep I love a good mystery
The last grown-up book I read was His Excellency George Washington and it was truly excellent. A must read for all Americans and lovers of history. No secrets are left out or stone unturned in this book.

I read Precious (Push) by Sapphire. It is written in the words of Precious and the spelling is atrocious so it was kind of hard to read but well worth it. I enjoyed it very much. Very disturbing and thought provoking.

I give it a 4.5/5

"Tuesdays with Morrie" by Mitch Albom

I'd heard so many wonderful things about this book over the years. Finally I decided to pick it up. I'm so glad I did! This was such an inspirational story. I give it a rating of 5/5!

I just finished Enchanted Island by May Torres 5/5 stars. It was such a great read. I'm re-reading it with a bunch of my friends sometime next week. I'm borderline obsessed with it now :D

Just finished 'The Reader' by Bernhard Schlink. I found the issues raised about the holocaust very interesting and revlevant but sadly found the characters difficult to engage with although i do suspect this was done on purpose. 3/5
Also finished 'A Thousand Splended Suns' by Khaled Hossini. This author is yet to disappointment me! 4.5/5

Just finished Perfume: The Story of a Murderer by Patrick Suskind and i give it a solid 4/5. It had it's rather bizarre moments but all in all it was pretty good. Odd. But good.
