I don't but I do like to talk to myself.I always read silently, where as my sister can't read silently, she has to actually physically move her mouth and read out loud.

Only when I'm reading in place with a lot of distractions (like the waiting room of the doctor/dentist when a bunch of noisy children are present). I would also do this in college when the assigned reading wasn't holding my interest.

Sometimes when I'm speed reading or trying to finish reading something especially for assignments and such, I tend to move my mouth along with the words. No actual sound comes out but I read faster when I do it though unconsciously. Happens often when revising for exams at the last minute or so.

I do not typically move my mouth when I read. Of course there are always exceptions. If I am studying a subject, I will read it out loud. Also, if there is a particularly beautiful quote, I will read it out loud. Just for the pleasure of it.

Some times I know that I do make face expressions because people have told me that I do.

I honestly find that I read quietly to myself if I am having trouble getting into or grasping the subject matter. Pretty much I only do that with my school text books when the reading is absolutely dry.

I don't move my mouth, but sometimes if I read a great sentence or paragraph that really affects me, I'll whisper it to myself because it sounds even better. If I'm proofreading something, I usually read it quietly.

I only say something out loud when I get really into the book and it's usually from a dialogue. Other than that, moving my mouth while I read takes too much energy.

Hahaha! Yes!! I move my mouth when I'm really engrossed in a book and yep...I whisper too. Drives my husband nuts when I read in bed!
