They have many new and popular books, fewer older ones and classics. I like the fact that I can usually find and check out the latest bestseller ... but I don't like that if I want a classic it's not on the shelf. Often it can be ordered from another library in our city, which is free, only takes a few days, and I really appreciate. But in the case of kids' books, sometimes the classic isn't even anywhere in the system. Also, for research, I wish they had a winder variety of nonfiction history books. Sometimes you don't know what book you're looking for until you see it on the shelf.
If I'm looking for a very specific title and it's not in the library, I shop Amazon. I do like to get books in hard copy when possible.
