I love the topic of this forum! I have far too many to choose from, however I'll leave just a few.
Where the Wild Things Are
Skelig
Where the Sidewalk Ends
The House next Door
I Love you Forever (this is one I intentionally purchased when I found out I was pregnant. My mom read it to me and I will read it to my daughter).
There are so manyy more! I am an avid reader and love to find new authors and books. I love seeing peoples imagination come to life in books. My husband and I both write and read books.

I really enjoyed Matilda and Charlie and the Chocolate Factory by Roald Dahl. They were introduced to me by my mother and that was my gateway into reading.

Ramona the Pest by Beverly Cleary was my first and absolute favorite, and a few years later, A Little Princess by Frances Hodgson Burnett came in a close second. I ate up all of the Ramona books, though, and for picture books, I thought nothing could top The Berenstain Bears books. :)

Any books by Roald Dahl, James and the Giant Peach, Mathilda, Witches, etc. They just transport me to another world, and I really enjoyed reading after that!

I hear tell they're continuing The Berenstain Bears series. I've yet to check out the new book (or books?), but it's on my mental agenda. I also recently learned that Beverly Cleary wrote one more Ramona book, Ramona's World, way after the others, in 1999. I'm sure it probably won't be "just like" the other seven Ramona books, but the girl in me would still like to read it. :D

Ooh, I was just as thrilled to discover more Anastasia books by Lois Lowry that I had not known about as a kid! And more books about Nina Tanleven by Bruce Coville--The Ghost in the Big Brass Bed!!

Yeah, you should totally read it.

Really little... Peter Rabbit, Alfie & Annie Rose and Corduroy were top favourites. Little bit older... Bearenstein Bears & Dr. Seuss. Then Ramona, Roald Dahl, and Sweet Valley Twins. Nowadays, Goodnight Moon seems to be the nightly fav with my little people.

I have always been eclectic in my taste for books. As a child, I liked Hank the Cowdog, Mary Poppins, and The Babysitter's Club. Then came Harry Potter...and my world was complete! I even read the Goosebump books where you could choose your own ending. So many choices, so little time!

I used to love reading The Babysitter's Club series and books by Mary Downing Hahn. I also enjoyed reading non-fiction books about dinosaurs.
