All the family books are in the library, but all my personal books stay in my room. I find it comforting to have them there.

My dads office has the most books, it has all the books both my parents own. There's so many books in there it looks like a library.

Do you ever raid their shelves?
When I was a teen(back when dinosaurs roamed the earth) I borrowed the old folks books all the time. True they were not so much books as they were stone tablets and scrolls.. The cave paintings were kinda hard to borrow tho..

definitely my bedroom. For awhile it was just stack and stacks of books-- frankly, if you squinted a little it looked like the whole room was constructed of books. But then my mom decided to get the windows re-done, and all my books are now crammed beneath my desk.

I'm kind of bummed about that.

The bedroom! I have my shelves in there and all my books either on the shelves or in drawers. I have a cat who thinks it's delightful fun to attack books and chew on them/beat them up with his back feet so I've had to whisk away any books that weren't on shelves and put them in drawers.

Isn't that just the truth! But even my little gods need to be respectful of books!

My room contains the most books in my house. I have two books cases full of books and then I have books all over my dresser and floor. I think I need to give some books away to make room for the new ones I continuously bring in.

My Study :D It looks ridiculous now; I have run out of shelving space and have literally resorted to creating piles upon piles of books, study materials and textbooks, scattered everywhere

Whichever room my Kindle paperwhite and me are in at any given time. This little device has been a must have since I broke my hip and ankle. It's simply amazing to have access to this amount of reading material anywhere.

We have a room specifically for our books which we just call the mini-library (though they still spill out into two bedrooms, the guestroom, under the stairs and in our living room...yeah basically books everywhere). It was initially upstairs, but two years ago we had to do renovations and move it downstairs because the contractors told us that they were afraid the room would collapse under all that book weight. Scared the heck out of me when they said that.
