I dont ever remember throwing a book away because I didnt like it, usually if it was a crap book I gave to someone I didnt like. Ive thrown away books that mice got into or had water damage but never books that wernt ruined.

Never!!!!! It would feel like sacrilege. Did you know that printed media, specifically books, are a sign of wealth in human society?

Yes, The Big Book of Boomerangs and How to Throw Them. Worthless thing. I didn't learn a thing. I threw the book away. But it kept coming back.

If I laugh at your joke, will it make you happy?

Theres a song title there, The Book Came Back.

The book was so bad they thought it was best
To give it to a fella who was going out west
Train went around the corner and hit a broken rail
Not a blessed soul aboard the train lived to tell the tale
But the book came back very next day
The book came back cause it wouldnt go away.

Think we could have a hit here?

The only books I've thrown away/recycled were kids books that were falling apart. Everything else is donated.

I could never imagine throwing a book away. It would hurt my heart too much. Any book I do not want anymore gets taken to a secondhand book store.

I don't think I can ever bring myself to do such a thing, maybe I did it as a child, I'm not sure, but as long as I can remember I never did it and I'm sure I never will, my books, no matter how bad, will always be precious to me.

Recently my cats decided to use a brand new book I had bought as a scratching toy rather than their post. They tore up the last two chapters of the book. So I took the pages and made coasters and a candle holder out of them. What I had left I threw out, and believe me those cats were in TROUBLE

Never. I have given away books or donated them to a thrift store, but never thrown it away. (Oh, the horror!) :)
