Re: Reading over sleeping

I would read all of the time if I could. I always get caught up in a good book and then I check the time and hours have past. I always read over sleep which is probably not the wisest thing to do but sometimes books are just better than sleep. :)

Yes many times I have ended up all night due to reading a good book. As will as when involved with a good series, I just want to keep going until I am so tired that I can't stay awake. Even when trying to sleep I end up thinking of stories I have read.

That is like my mandate of life, reading comes before everything even sleeping.

I have done that many times. Especially when I am into a great book-I tend to forget what time it is. When I look up it is late so I just keep reading.

I can't let myself read in bed anymore, I've had far too many sleepless nights due to a good book!

I started reading the second book in the Divergent series Insurgent one night before bed. Needless to say I never went to bed that night. I read the entire book, by the time I was finished it was morning and I had to continue on with my day. It was definitely worth a night of no sleep though.

Oh yeah. I think every book lover experienced this. Especially if that book is very captivating, I'm so engrossed in reading that I'll be shock because the sun is already rising. Hehehe.. There is this anxious feeling when you read a good book that tickles your curiosity. You can't stop reading until you don't know who was the person who made the main character hate the world. How and why did that antagonists did that? Etc. You just can't stop. :)
Reading like there's no tomorrow. This happens usually during weekend when there's no class or work but duh. As an obsess reader, I read books until I finished it anytime. :)

Ah, the good old days when I had time and youth to do that without being a zombie the next day.

If I'm really into a book, I will not be aware of time, and it's suddenly 2 in the morning before I finish the book. :D

Many times have I done this!! Though when it started going into 4am, I felt a bit strange or guilty and tried to make myself go on to bed. When I did all I would do was lay there and think of the story and feel rediculous that I just didnt go ahead and finish it.

I have, but usually it is because I am almost finished. It has to be a really good book though.

I do this all the time! I also tend to get so lost in a book that I forget to eat.
