When I became pregnant at the age of 27 I didn't want anything to do with books. I could not stand them . The entire year I think I did not read books but surprisingly I enjoyed magazines instead. Now we all know the difference between our books and magazines, it's pictures. Why on earth did I enjoy seeing pictures of jackets and trendy jeans? Three years later I found my answer ,I was pregnant with a book worm.

For me it is often a matter of how busy I am. If I was retired with not much to do I think I could read all the time, but with a busy life I find that I go in spurts like you. Some times it will take me a month to finish a book, because I just can't get the time, but other times I will read through a book in 2 or 3 days. So I guess I don't get bored of reading, just consumed with everything.

I couldn’t agree more. The habit of reading is fantastic, but sometimes it can be challenging to put into practice.

Hi!

I love to read! At times in the past, I could not read my book because of outside commitments, and I was upset about it. Especially if I were reading a very good part of the book, or if it is a good book, you cannot put down! I made a plan to get back to reading my book. In school, I was called a "bookworm." Anyway, even today sometimes I cannot read as I would like because of my schedule, but I am so glad they invented audiobooks! I can read on the go!

Till date I have not gotten bored of reading! I sometimes like switching up genres and I will read that genre for a few months and then switch it up again. I am yet to wake up one day and not feel like reading at least one chapter of a book.

I mostly read around d 50-60 pages in a day. But the numbers can vary according to the business if my schedule. Some days I may read 150 pages a day, while other times it may just be 10-20 pages. But I make sure to read everyday. No day goes by without reading.

No, I don't think I can. If I do get bored, it's because the story is uninteresting, not the reading itself.

Not bored but tired and I know it´s not the better way of retaining information; although I still read more lighter material as websites, webtoons or fanfics.

I don’t get bored unless it’s a book I just really don’t enjoy, but I don’t have times where I’m more distracted reading and thus it takes me longer to read

As long as the book is interesting, I could read for hours without break. Being bored of reading is not something that normally happens to me.

I wouldn't say I get bored of reading. If I'm reading a book that I'm not super into, I might be a bit slower to finish it, but not by a substantial amount (because usually I'm trying to get through it so I can get to my next book). My slower periods are usually just weeks where I'm busy socially and don't really have much at-home time to chill and read.
