I always take my Kindle, but my Doctor's Office is a very busy place and more often than not "people watching" wins out!

Yeah... I always tend to carry a book around, and if I only have a few pages from a book, I sometimes take another one with me. :)

Yes! I take my kindle everywhere just for those moments when you know you are going to be hanging about waiting......and for the unexpected occasions.

Yes! There is always a long wait before doctor's appointments and I would rather read my book than the outdated magazines available for me. Plus I carry a book with me wherever I go!

There are people who don't do this?!?
Crap happens; it's inevitable, it's a part of life. You can't let it destroy though, you learn to be stronger and wiser through the crappy things that happen.

I would rather do anything than sit and be bored in a doctors office. I always take my kindle or my mp3 player with an audio book loaded on it to listen to while I am waiting. Otherwise the wait seems like hours rather than minutes. The nurses frequently ask me for reading recommendations.

Nope. I should remember to do that next time I go to the doctor.

yes, there are lots of people who don't do this - some pass their time with their phone going on facebook or playing phone games or knitting or doing crosswords or watching TV - there are many different people, you know.

I take my kindle loaded with lots of books everywhere I go. Weather it is to work to read on breaks and lunch or to the doctor's office to read while I wait.

Only if I know that the wait at the doctor's office is going to be really long. Otherwise I would not like to carry an extra baggage with me, unless I have an ebook. ebooks are highly preferred in such sitautions.

Yes it's the most comfortable when your waiting in the doctors office and you have a good book that will take your mind off anything that you will have to do when you go in the back. Most times i just get lost in the the book sometimes i just forget where i am that why if i was on a road trip it would even affect me. Reading is my second love i don't want to change.

I just carry my kindle with me when I know I will have to wait somewhere. Unless of course I'm going somewhere with somebody, and then I just rely on good old fashioned talking :)

For sure, I take my books everywhere that I'll need to be waiting around.
