Where do you normally get your books?

I have been trying to be a more conscious consumer and reduce the amount of waste I produce and amount of money that I spend. I have been trying to buy all of my books from used book stores in order to get a book for a lot cheaper and prevent it from being thrown out. I also try to go to the library in order to be exposed to new books that I haven't read or read books that I don't want to buy. A lot of books found in the used book store that I go to are lightly used or even brand new. So I normally get my books from a used book store or go to the library.

I like to browse at Waterstones for the chilled atmosphere. I buy from amazon or ebay typically. WorldofBooks is a good site for cheap deals, as long as you don't mind used books. My last orders weren't in very good condition but I did manage to find a copy of The Stand Uncut. I work in a charity shop, so when something sweet comes in, I'll get it for 99p

I usually get my books on Booksale or online shops where the price is affordable.

Mostly get books from the library. I have got a few from Amazon and Waterstones, but they were for studying.

Physical books have long become out of the question for me. These days it's all Amazon, Kobo and Project Gutenberg. There's some other free book sites like PG here and there that I download books from, but I don't remember their names (Librivox is one, but that's audiobooks). I don't think I've ever bought anywhere outside Amazon and Kobo for digital.

One day if/when I move to another city with a more diverse library (and the current situation is over), I'll definitely be a frequent visitor and rent books there.

I buy some books and mostly lend it from the Library. I prefer library books because it makes sure that I finish that book before the due date. So that I don't procrastinate my reading.

Amazon and Library Sales. Though the big sales happen quite infrequently, most libraries have friend's booksales where you can buy an assortment of books for cheap.

Everywhere. Any bookstores I come across, second-hand bookstores, thrift shops, garage/yard sales, library sales and giveaways, online, conventions, any store that carries them, any place they are to be found.

I rarely visit a bookstore, so I buy books online.

I usually get my books from bookstores but online bookstores are luring me to get books from them meaning there is no more smelling my book before I read it.

I normally borrow books from the library or read on Kindle Unlimited. If I really like a book and want to own a copy, then I will usually shop at my local BAM.
