I'll just drag along with the book if it's boring so it will take me longer to read it. I just have to finish read it.

Never skipped a page, and never read the last page of a book to see how it ended. Probably the closest to skipping pages for me would be speeding up reading the last couple of pages of a chapter because it's late and I want to go to sleep, but I hate to stop part-way through a chapter. But then I end up re-reading those pages again the next day anyway because I can't remember what has happened.

I don't don't skip pages but sometimes I'll skip paragraphs. Usually when the description is dragging on and there hasn't been any action for a a little while. I"ll like of skim ahead to find the next bit of dialogue or interesting paragraph.

I do! I don't even mean to, but I'll catch myself doing it. I'll be reading and skip and read the next page to see what's about to happen, then go back and continue to read from where I left off.

Never. I actually sometimes reread pages. I feel like I'm missing something important if I don't read every single word.

Yes, when it gets boring or is dragged down with too much detail. I mostly will skim or skip paragraphs, not usually entire pages. I hate not finishing a book so I will tend to skim until the action picks up again.

I have never skipped pages, I would rather leave a book until a later time.

Depends on the book for me. I like to keep track of the plot/events that occur and many authors put so much imagery in their story that I just want to scream 'get back to the point'. I really don't need you to tell me how many blades of green slippery grass is in the field.

I'd skim, usually if the book is seriously getting too tedious, and I just want to have a closure. I usually won't skip pages unless things are really bad and I kind of know what's going to happen already and need only bits and pieces to support my predictions and get to the end. And a book must be seriously bad if I can't even be bothered to look at the ending.

Never got past the first chapter of Fifty Shades of Grey.

I can't bring myself to skip pages anymore. I used to skip pages all the time, wanting to read more books at a quicker pace. But now I feel like I've missed out if I skip pages. I read all my books word for word now.

I can't skip pages I feel like I might somehow miss an important minuscule detail.
I do skip over lengthy description sometimes though.

No. I don't skip pages of a book. I like to read it all the way through so I have read the whole story and know what happens all the way through.

I feel the same way exactly. Every word on every page counts!

I think I might cringe at the thought of not learning the full story and possibly missing an important event or action.
