I hate when people try to talk to me for an extended period of time. It's one thing if it's a quick question or comment and then they'll leave, but it's another thing when they're asking me all kinds of questions and trying to engage me in a conversation. I also hate when I have to go to the bathroom and then I have to interrupt my reading, mark the page, and get up; the same is true for when I want a snack. I hate when we're having soup for dinner and I can't read while I eat it because then I'll get soup all over the page.

I hate it when I'm in public trying to read and somebody sits down next to me. I feel obligated to put my book down and talk to the person when I really have no interest in what they have to say.
