The one thing that annoys me the most when I am reading is my telephone ringing. I would turn it off, but can't in case there is a real emergency.

Hunger. I can't read when I'm hungry so I get really annoyed that I have to go get food and spend however long cooking it only to come back and have to get comfortable again.

I get really annoyed when people keep talking to me. I have my book in front of my face because I want to get lost in a story.

People talking to me when they can clearly see I'm reading. Then they get upset because I'm not listening to them......duh!! Then don't talk to me when I'm reading.

I hate it when people try to get me to stop reading. If they need to talk or want something. What bothers me the most is when they start asking meaningless questions. Usually this happens when I am reading on the couch. I have learned that the best place to read is in my bedroom in my special chair. That way most people won't interrupt me unless they really need something.

When people keep talking to you while you're reading, and then you read the same sentence over and over!

I think if they asked me a question knowing full well that I'm reading and not concentrating on what they're saying. It drives me crazy!

What annoys me the most is when people try to talk to me while I am reading. I will admit to not wanting to talk to people or meet new people when I am reading lol. I just don't want to be bugged, but on the other hand I have a difficult time being impolite.

Hunger pains because it means I have to cook which means it's going to be a while before I can get back to reading. Also when my husband asks me to do something while I'm in the middle of the most exciting part of the book!

I think for me the most annoying are people who try to engage in conversation. I don't like it, but it's tolerable as long as I'm not in a really good part of a book! I was reading one night and at the part of a mystery where I was about to figure out who the murderer was when my husband decided this was a good time to discuss dinner plans for the following week... :x
