No but if I'm in a good part or in the middle of a paragraph it waits till the end of the paragraph or the end of a chapter.

No, but I grew up in the era before answering machines and I just don't feel obligated to answer just because it's ringing. Especially if the book I'm reading is more interesting, and it probably is!

I don't turn my phone off while I'm reading, but I don't text back right away if I'm into the book I'm reading.

No, but if it is important they will leave a message. That's what message machines are for.

Absolutely, I don't want any interruptions when I am reading. Especially if its a book that belong to a series.

I just ignore text messages, or half the time I'm reading on the phone.

No, I'm not an active user of phone so anyway my phone is always hidden somewhere in my bag. Not a big fan of texting or whatsapp or twitter. Imaginary world is always more interesting than a ringing phone, right? ;)

I don't turn off my phone when I read because I actually think it adds to the joyousness of reading.... when a scene in a book is really good... I sometimes like to be taken away from it by either a phone call... knock on the door or some other form of distraction. It builds up my curiosity and makes me more excited about returning to read it.

No, but I'm not a huge phone person anyway, so it's not a big deal. I do hate to be interrupted, though! Now, if only I could turn my kids and husband off when I read.... :D

No. I never know who may be calling. Most of the time it's my mom or sister. I guess I can put my book down to answer their calls!

I don't turn my phone off. I'm normally reading on it or using it for background music.
