Yes, I feel like I am very skilled at multi-tasking and reading. Oftentimes, I have the television going or holding a conversation with someone while reading. I know it's hard to believe I can actually comprehend what I am reading by doing multiple things but I feel my mind wanders if I don't have some type of noise. My sister has diagnosed me with some form of ADHD/ADD. She says I can't sit still nor do I have a long attention span for just one thing. I think its a talent personally.

I can listen to music while reading books. I try to listen to songs that match the mood of the book, it enhances the reading experience!

I do tend to read during commercials, but since I'm not actually watching the commercials, I'm not sure that counts. I'm slightly infamous in my family for reading while I eat (though everyone else does it too, and family dinners usually include five people and five books), and sometimes I'll read while I walk.

I can read when the TV is on but if someone is talking to me or music is playing, it is too distracting.

I wouldn't call it multitasking, but usually my television is on in the background. I really like to focus on my book and relax in bed or on the couch and just lose track of the stuff around me.

It depends on the book. If it's good, I'll probably shut down the whole world around me to be foccused only in the pages in front of me, but if I don't like I can be doing a hundred things at the time.

Yes. I can read and watch tv at the same time. I can also do other tasks while reading like cooking or playing games. I am just that obsessed with reading lol.

Sometimes I read when commercials come on...though I don't know if that can really be considered multitasking...

I usually like to solely focus on the book I am reading. I find it hard to multitask when reading and actually get the full effect of what is going on in the book.

I would like to say I can multitask while reading, but the results so far have been pretty dangerous/inconvenient (I once kept pouring boiling water into my coffee for about two minutes while reading and ended up spilling it everywhere and nearly burning my hand off). I tend to get so engrossed in a book that I can barely think about anything else! But I think that's why books are so magical :)

It took me awhile, but now I can walk and read and not immediately cause accidents and bodily injury. Reading and eating is easy though -- and my favorite activity.

I enjoy having classical musical in the background when I'm reading a book, the atmosphere is so intimate and i'm just alone with my book: best feeling ever.

When I read I can't do anything else, otherwise I won't be able to imagine what i'm reading.
