This is a long shot, but I'm looking for someone who would like to read "Assata: An Autobiography" by Assata Shakur with me and have discussions about it.

@Gravy @hsimone "Come Tumbling Down" (Wayward Children #5) by Seanan McGuire just came out. Do you want to read it together?

My sister and I are going to be reading the entire Harry Potter series! We thought it would be fun to include others who wanted to join in on discussions about different parts of the book! We will be getting the information out soon on what pages we will read first and when we will begin discussing that section! Stay tuned!

100% yes!

Unfortunately, I'm not sure when I'll get my grubby little hands on it, but I'm all for doing a read-a-long!

I will definitely be reading "The Conference of the Birds", by Ransom Riggs. This is the 5th book in the 'Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children' series. It is being released on January 14, and I am very excited to read it. If anyone wants to read-a-long with me please let me know ASAP.

The book is on my list, but it will take me some time to reach it. I didn't read the other books in the series yet, so I need to start with them.

Well, I found the first 3 books to be pretty easy reads - meaning that I went through them fairly quickly. Not trying to rush you, but that was my experience. And most people find that the 4th book was kind of a dud - I don't think it's necessary to read that one since it has some material which isn't pertinent to the main story, but that's just my opinion and that of numerous reviewers as well

Ok. :)

I will start the trilogy today, but I don't know if I finish it by the 14th.

It's fine - the new book is only being released on the 14th January. It will be an extra 2-3 days for delivery.

Yes, I enjoy it very much. I just finished the second book and about to start the third one. Have you got the fifth book?

I'm getting it on Saturday, but I'm willing to wait until you finish the trilogy. I am working on another book anyway, so it's all good. :)
