I tend to re-read books on science and religion the most. However, sometimes I'll browse other genres. Lately, I've been turning back to Dr. John Walton's Lost World of Genesis One which talks a good bit about ancient Near Eastern culture and the context of the Old Testament.
I am an avid reader. I typically read 1-2 books per week. I enjoy a wide array of genres including Sci Fi, Action/Thriller, and Historical Fiction.

As a geologist and christian, I also particularly enjoy books on science and faith.

The book I reread the most would most definitely be Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone! It was the very first novel I read, so it is very special for me and also my all-time favorite comfort book.

Hello,
I reread the book "THE MIDNIGHT LIBRARY" by matt Haig.
As a suicidal person who quitted that word, the book synopsis was interesting.

Rereading the book makes me feel better whenever I want to jump.

I also like it since I was diagnosed with psychosomatic, and take antidepressants which is happening in the book with the protagonist. So I feel really alive and relative to it.
Regards,
Fellow beginner reviewer.

I try to read most books only once because there are tons of books that deserve to be read. the exception is the Harry Potter series. I used to read them again and again when I was younger and still do because the world building is incredible and the characters feel so deeply while staying positive. It is inspiring :D

I would say Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy. It's deeply comforting, humorous, spontaneous and creative. With a little bit of poignant thrown in here and there.

Also Jane Eyre.
And also Lord of the Rings.

The Silo Trilogy by Hugh Howie; Mistborn series by Brandon Sanderson; Harry Potter; Dark Towers. Will probably add Fourth Wing to the list soon!

Hello from a fellow depressed person. This book almost made me cry. I also identify with the protagonist. I wish you grace, love, healing, and happiness. :)

The Count of Monte Cristo by Alexandre Dumas. It's a brilliant book about revenge with lots of layers. Even though it's really long, it moves quickly.

Hello,
Since you replied, I thought it would be mannerism to reply too.

I also watched an anime of Monte Cristo, I loved it.

Great we have a similar taste in books.

"Women Who Run With the Wolves" by Clarissa Pinkola Estes is my number one book to reread. When I feel like I'm wandering aimlessly through my day/week or feel depleted in my soul, her words bring nourishment and renewed fire to my bones.
