I always read a new book at least twice (helps me with story comprehension, also I read very quickly).

What I've reread multiple times the most would be Arabian Nights, the Chronicles of Narnia series and almost any of the Paranormal Dating Agency series by Milly Taiden.

I read the "classic" six Austen novels (my Mom insisted that they were required reading) as a young teen. I apparently didn't like them because I don't remember much about them. I have an impression that Pride and Prejudice seemed soap-opera-ish. Since I'm an adult now, I'm contemplating a re-read.

Probably the first Percy Jackson book, or the first manga of Zatch Bell! They were such a big part of me and my brothers' growing up, they have become my comfort reads for sure, I could quote them on my sleep at this point.

It definitely has to be all the Harry Potter books. I guess I just like to get lost in the world created for them and immerse myself in the magic. I have definitely reread them all at least 10-15 times, genuinely. Not even counting audiobooks. I feel like the ones I get pulled back into the most are the illustrated versions because they make the experience somehow more real.

Pride and Prejudice is my most re-read novel, followed closely by The Count of Monte Cristo.

Purple Hibiscus by a highly revered Nigerian author, Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie. A lot of people from strict religious backgrounds can relate to that book.

I reread the originals almost as often as I watch the series itself. It’s my guilty pleasure.

Books I liked as a teenager always have me coming back for nostalgia reasons. So Twilight, the Percy Jackson series, The Summoning/Awakening/Reckoning books, and The Duff. These are all such comfort books to me and I LOVE them.

Lord of the Rings! My dad read it to me several times as a child and it's been my go to ever since.
In my opinion Tolkien was a genius. The mythology, the languages, it still takes my breath away.

Oooof, it's got to be either: The Hobbit, Anne of Green Gables by Lucy Maud Montgomery (or any of the series, for that matter), or Writing Down the Bones by Natalie Goldberg. I keep reaching for these three in a rotating manner! 😄 Recommend all of them, too, if anyone is interested. Amazing, all of them 🧡
