If it is a book I really enjoyed, I will keep it so I can read it again. If I semi-liked it or didn't care for it, I will trade it in to a place that takes used books, then take credit and buy more books.

I write my name on the inside, and put them on my shelf! I re-read A LOT, so I couldn't imagine getting rid of my books!

I put it on my shelf or lend it to a friend to read if it's really good and I want to talk about it.

I am not a re-reader*, but I do like to keep a copy of books I truly loved. If I didn't care for the book, I don't mind re-selling it or donating it to a good cause.

*One exception is reference books. I do re-read or re-visit these.

Keep them on my shelves and relive the book. If it was awful then bin it without blinking.

If I love the book I will keep it on my bookshelf and depending if it is one that my boyfriend would like, have him read it. If it was one that I can part with, I put it on paperbackswap, a book trading site.

It depends. If it's from the library, I obviously take it back :D If I borrowed it or it was loaned to me, I return it. If I bought it and I like, I store it with my other books. If I didn't like it, I try to find it a new home with one of my friends.

If the book was one of my favorites of all I've read, I keep them so I can read them again as many times as I want. If I enjoy it but don't want to keep it, I usually give it to someone, donate it to the library or something, or even try to sell it.

I put it back on my bookshelf. But I gave away some of my old childhood books before. I don't need them anymore

It really depends. I tend to always keep my non-fiction books on a certain shelf, mostly for reference I guess. My fiction , I pass them on to friends and family members once I am done.

I kept them all at one time but after 40 or more years I had no place and had to get rid of them. That was hard, but I don't reread books as there are just too many out there to read. I have kept a few that I think I might go back and read now 30 years later.

I have a collection of my favourites that I could not consider giving away. Otherwise, if I grow out of them or run out of space, I donate them to local and village libraries. The libraries in rural schools in my country are understocked and its nice to think that some school children are getting better use out of them.

I usually hug it if it was amazing and then put it on the bookshelf or lend it to all of my friends. I love it when my books are all worn in :)
If I really don't like a book I usually ask around of any of my friends want it and if not then I just donate it.

Most times I don't really want to keep my books. My place is too small and I've already got a ton of books I collected for years until I realized I had no more room for books. So what I do is I go to a site that I've been a member of for years and swap the books. I don't usually order books off the site for me. I collect credits and then get books for family. Usually for the small children of the family since they always need new kid books for school. I've found it keeps my number of books down, but I'm still able to get hardcopy books. And I don't pay an arm and a leg.
