I keep all my books! Sometimes I lend them out to friends when I find something particularly good, some I reread. I just can't stand the thought of getting rid of my books. I love my collection!

I keep them on my shelves unless they were not very good, then I sell them or give them trade them in to a used book store to get different books.

If the books are ones that I absolutely love, definitely I keep them. Otherwise, I give them away.

Every time I finish a book I sit back and think, "Would I read this again?"
It always takes me a minute, sometimes even longer, but I make the decision eventually. If the answer is yes, back on the shelf it goes. If the answer is no, hello cardboard box. If the book is a newer, more popular one I'll take it to my local library, but if it's old or in bad condition I just donate it to Goodwill.
I figure in every scenario, someone gets to enjoy the book and that's good enough for me. :D

Most of the books I read are ebooks. I'll keep them if I like it, otherwise I will just delete them.
Also I know this isn't a proper grammar forum, but am I the only one who noticed that the subject says your when it is supposed to be you're ? :D

Usually I only keep unread books on my bookshelves or books I really loved and plan on reading again. Of course reference books are kept and shelved. But for paperbacks or other works of fiction they tend to go into a pile until I decide to have a garage sale, give to a friend/coworker, or take to the used bookstore. There is a perk to ebooks they don't make a mess or gather dust....

I keep them on my bookshelf, even the ones I don't like. Ideally, I'd give them away, but once I purchase a book I feel committed to it.

I keep most of my books after I read them so that I can re-read them later. Some of my friends and I trade books among each other also.

If it's really, really good, I recommend it to everyone I know, and at times, forcefully--(I like to think of it as "enthusiastically") lend it to them. If the book is not that good, or if it's not worth a re-read, or if I know that only a few people would like it, it just kind of sits on the shelf unless I want to re-read a particular section, or remember a quote.

...The same is true for e-books; except in that case, I can't really electronically lend someone a copy.

Usually when I read a book it was taken out of the library, so I have to return them too...
The few books I do keep are gifts from family and friends or ones I had purchased because the cover looked pretty, and I put them on display.

It depends on the book. If it is one I enjoyed alot I will keep it. If it was ok or something I didn't enjoy I usually sell them or give them to my library to make some money off from.

I usually put it on the bookshelf and if after a while I don't read it again, I donate it to the local library for its used book sale.

If I've developed an emotional attachment to the book I will keep it.
Some I've sold to used bookshops.
Sometimes I give to friends.
Sometimes I donate to the financially-strapped local library.
