oh--almost forgot. Whoever it was that had Dracula on the list--beware.... Hated it as a teenager, read it again last year & still thought it was awful!!
Really? I liked it a lot :) Don't listen to him :P

I have to say I loved Dracula as well.

I have it anyway, and it was free :-) I'll try, and if I don't like it - I'll quit. I read for fun and if it's not fun I don't read it...

I have two books that I'm dying to finish: forever by Maggie Steifvater and Madman's daughter (don't remember the name of the author sorry). It's a little hard to fit with all the University studies

I have done this in in the past too. I especially have this issue when hitting up library book sales. I will buy a few bags of books and then many of them will just sit there unread for years. I have come to the point that if I haven't picked it up to at least look at it after a year I donate it or send it to my sister!

I currently have about 65 unread books at the moment. Too many to list, haha!

A few on my list include:
After
The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn
Life of Pi (little over half way)
But there are so many more, especially on my computer.

Scott wrote:I get most of the books from the library which helps me to avoid the piling up of books I haven't read. It encourages me to read them in the order I pick them out as well, since I will return them. When you buy a book, you can keep telling yourself you will read it some other time. With the library, you have a due date that helps encourage you to actually read it now.
oh I agree I love the library but I live too far to go to one and make it back by the due date. I have a whole room dedicated to books I will one day read. I find myself finishing a book then reading one I have read before to break away back to the familiar again so it just takes extra time to get to the next. Anyhow the library theory very smart!
