I enjoy paperbacks, they feel much more intimate to read! Is that weird? The hardcovers feel like there is a barrier between me and the book. But then also the hardcovers look so classy on the bookshelf.. I enjoy reading and getting both tho! I much more care about the design on the cover rather than the format!

I usually don't have a problem with either. Paperbacks are usually less expensive and this means you can purchase more. Hardcovers are more durable and just speaks of quality. I enjoy reading both in bed too. When travelling, I opt for ebooks.

I do not mind either. If I had a choice between one or the other, I would probably pick the hardcover book.

I have both paperback and hardcover books. As most previously underlined, paperback books are cheaper and easier to handle, but for dictionaries, encyclopedias and other non fiction books I prefer hardcovers.

I like both. Generally I purchase more paperback because they are cheaper, are lighter, and fit better in a bag that I can carry with me. I do, however, enjoy having a hard cover of the classics, like Les Miserables. I love having the actual physical book. I just finished listening to an audio version of Les Miserables on Spotify. The reader was fantastic. I really enjoyed it! I never thought that I would enjoy an audio book.

I'm neutral, I don't care either way. Paperbacks are cheaper so there's a bit of a preference there, but I don't care aesthetically or anything like that. I also don't care if the books in a series match.

I totally get that! Many readers prefer consistency in their collection. With ebooks, you don’t have to worry about paperback vs. hardcover, just a great reading experience across all devices! 😃"

I can go either way.
Paperbacks travel better, but hardcovers are more durable.

When I'm at home I don't really care, I love both formats. Whenever I go outside though I can only read paperback, I am to afraid to break or lose my hardcovers (which are usually not only more expensive but more beautiful and better quality). So only paperbacks outside, or my kindle, that one always wins though.

Paperbacks all the way! Hardcovers are too difficult to handle and hurt my hands! Plus, paperbacks are generally cheaper. I also have to admit… I love to bend the spine ALL the way open.

I can't resist hardcover books! After I read The Lord of the Rings bound in one single paperback, I realized how much I need the extra protection at times. Their beauty is magnetic too. I try to make up for it by buying used paperbacks for books I'm not sure I'll adore. I could do without dust jackets, though. I've yet to keep one pristine.

It would definitely be paperback for me. I find them easier to manage, and less intimidating too, if that makes any sense.

Paperback for me as I usually love to have a book in my bag and it is a lot easier and lighter to carry than a hardback.

I love hardcover but I'm not opposed to paperback
But if I'm to choose it'll definitely be hardcover.
