As always, my reading list right now is quite long. Next up are "Seraphina" by Rachel Hartman, "The Corpse Rat King" by Lee Battersby, and "Kinslayer" by Jay Kristoff, the sequel to the stellar debut "Stormdancer".

The next book on my list is Eat Pray Love because I heard it's fantastic and I also have a desire to travel the world someday. I hope it's good and I hope the movie is too!

I just finished a series called "the Jade Series" really good books. there was four of them and it was about how corrupt the government and rich people can be and things that go on and secret societies and of course a love story. there aren't very many books that I have read that don't have some sort of love story in them

Next two on the coffee table (which hardly ever actually means they're going to be the next read in reality):

Fanny Hill -- John Cleland
The Rise of The Iron Moon -- Stephen Hunt

I don't have a reading list. I have access to so many books I can pick & choose depending on my mood and the type I've just read. If I've read an intense book I usually pick up something lighter. Lighter usually means something by Stephen King, Kootz, etc.

The Witches by Roald Dahl -- I know this is a children's book, but I've never read it! So my co-worker loaned it to me.

The Dead Zone by Stephen King -- I've never been able to get into Stephen King, perhaps because the movie IT scared the daylights out of me. But this book sounds really good.

Wow. You guys all seem to be heavy intellectuals.

I just discovered an author, Paul Kearney, and I started his novel A Different Kingdom. I had to take it back to the library to give myself a break, it was too intense an experience and I needed the emotional energy for my day-to-day duties, but my plan is, now that I have cooled down, to check it out again and finish it. Then, if it proves to have been a good experience, I'll work my way through his other novels. (I believe there are sequels.)

I'm starting with The Color Purple right now. Just read the first few pages.
After that I'm probably gonna read "When God was a Rabbit" from Sarah Winman. No idea what to expect there.

I'm currently reading 'The Friday Gospels' by Jen Ashworth, it's about a family of Mormons and book is spread over an entire day about the thoughts, insecurities and the activities of each person in the family. It is a good read.
My next book hopefully will be 'The echoed Mountains-Khaled Hossieni.

I'm really looking forward to starting the King Killer Chronicles by Patrick Rothfuss. My boyfriend has read The Name of the Wind three times now, it's hard to find an opportunity between my reading list and him re-reading it to get it before he grabs it again! I have a few other books on the back burner, but mostly books that end series.

I think if I had a list, I would be feeling pressured to rush through my books. I usually have 5 unread books under my bed that I picked up either at B&N or thrift stores. I limit myself to 5 at a time or I would need a whole house for my books. Then, when I finish with one book, I look under the bed to see what I'm in the mood for. Usually, I'll have a serious read / literature, and a couple of not-so serious fiction books and always one sci-fi. If I am feeling stressed or need to get away from reality, I'll pick the sci-fi or fantasy. If my mind is ready for heavy reading, I'll pick one of the others. But I always have to finish one before I get under the bed for another one!

Hello everyone, I just registered. Just wanted to introduce myself.

I'm interested in reviewing mainly non-fiction books, especially economic development, religion, history, and politics/current affairs.
