I like crime mixed with a little bit of romance. Mystery, serial killers, police procedurals, and medical thrillers top my list.

I chose three although the choices didn't include all my favourite genres which also include Christian fiction and I still like childrens fiction at times because sometimes it can be better written than adult fiction (strange!)

My number one would have to be a good mystery or thriller. Love sci fi....especially scientific based.

Mine were: Fantasy, horror, and folk tales...but I love historical fiction also, so it was a hard choice. Good poll!

Usually fantasy and sci-fi are grouped together at Amazon, and that is the way I think of them, but didn't have that option here so I voted sci-fi,romance and mystery/suspense/thriller.Next would be horror then bio/memoirs.

My three most favorite genres are mystery, horror, and fantasy; I know that it is a random pick but I tend to prefer them because they are the most exciting in my opinion. For mysteries I like books that have similar stories to the works of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. For horror I turn to Edgar Allen Poe and Stephen King to give me the adrenaline rush that I seek. As for fantasy I choose particularly the young adult versions where things tend to be a bit more creative and a bit more exciting.

I love historical books as well as historical fiction. I also like biographies/autobiographies, but I haven't read a ton of them!
