I have read both and enjoyed them. I think Harry Potter has much better dialogs, plot, descriptions, and much more. I could read the HP books over and over. As for twilight I read them just once and enjoyed them, but I don't think ill ever read them again.

Harry Potter 100%. I don't feel that the two are even comparable honestly. But that's my personal opinion.

Harry Potter all the way! I mean, it’s a classic and not much can beat it.

These both are amazing! I would have to choose Harry Potter though. They are much more detailed and the movies match up better with the books also.

I believe that Stephen King said it best: "Harry Potter is all about confronting fears, finding inner strength, and doing what is right in the face of adversity. Twilight is about how important it is to have a boyfriend."

I love the results of this! I think Harry Potter is so complex that it just works beautifully. I respect so much Twilight as well, but not many series are over HP in my opinion.

Harry Potter. Twilight can't hold a candle to Harry Potter. Twilight was too prose heavy and the plot wasn't very suspenseful. Harry Potter has complex themes, action, suspense, and much more lovable and realistic characters.

Harry Potter is amazing. I don’t think Twilight even comes close.

There are way better vampire shows and movies out there in my opinion. I can’t wrap my head around sparkling vampires at all .

These are hard to compare because they’re such different types of books, but I think Harry Potter is better overall.

The entire wizard world and Hogwarts is so detailed and descriptive and that takes a lot of good writing to uphold. I love twilight but making vampires who live in our modern world just isn’t the same. I also think the rest of twilight series books are just slightly worse than the last where Harry Potters are all (in my opinion ) equally as good as the first.

Harry Potter is a clear winner for me even though I did enjoy Twilight. I feel like Harry Potter had more world building and there were just more characters and dynamics to fall in love with. It helps that there were more books and I grew up while they were all coming out. Twilight was fun and I enjoyed reading the books with friends but the stories felt more - focused? Both were wonderful in their own way though and I would recommend both series.
