I hardly have a target but 100 hardcovers annually is enough

For instance, last year i spent nearly 2 months reading On The Road, a 300 page classic. And yet i read over 700 pages of 11.22.63 in just four days, then followed that by reading an average of a book a week. It all depends on how tired i am during the week, what humor im in, how much spare time i have, the length of the book etc. At the moment im on fire with books as im getting through them very fast so ill try and hang on to that vibe. It also helps when i read a few decent horror books that catch my interest. :D

I try to read between 100-200 books a year. Depending on the year and how busy work is, This year I am already well clear of 150 so seems to be a good year! Though only about every 20th book I read is non-fiction, most of them are relaxing romantic novels.

Reading 4-5 books a month is impressive and shows a strong commitment to reading. It is halfway through the year and I am at 30, that I have fully read. Reading is the hobby that i try my best to make time for.

I read every day. Some days I cant stop until I have finished the book. If I hit on a book that I dont really like I just keep going until I hit a spot that I do like.

I try to read 1 book per week. So that's about 50 books a year. It seems a big target in starting but when you see it like this (a book a week), it sounds doable.

The last few years I average 16 books a month and end the year at about 200 total. Reading is my primary hobby and something I make time for to read at the rate I do.

2025 is the first year I'm actually keeping track, so we'll see how it goes, but my estimate would be 50-60. About a book a week is pretty standard, although there's definitely some times when it's more or less. (e.g. I finished 3 books during a snowy three-day weekend where I was basically stuck inside for 72 hours straight; I've also had some long books that took me two weeks).
