I have found that if I am not careful with hardcover books, I will get a bruise on the inside of my palm. The climax of the book is the most dangerous part for me, LOL. I guess that I just grip it too hard.
For paperbacks, I sometimes fold them over, but not too often anymore. I don't mind replacing well loved books, but I don't want to speed up the process.

If I wanna turn to either side of the bed, I place my Kindle near the pillow that will be used as a support xD
