How do you hold your books?

Usually I lie on my back and hold my book with both hands, right above my face. Eventually this position becomes uncomfortable though and I turn onto my stomach and lay the book flat on the floor, then put my face in my hands - I suppose I'm an all or nothing type of gal. Hehe

In so many different ways. It all depends on the situation and oftentimes the weight of the book itself.

I have found that if I am not careful with hardcover books, I will get a bruise on the inside of my palm. The climax of the book is the most dangerous part for me, LOL. I guess that I just grip it too hard.
For paperbacks, I sometimes fold them over, but not too often anymore. I don't mind replacing well loved books, but I don't want to speed up the process.

Usually when I'm reading I'm lying down so I place the book on my tummy and hold it up with one hand, and sometimes with both.

Gently ... very gently. I try not to bend the spine too much and I don't hold it too tightly to avoid making thumb creases on the pages. I also never hold it above me in case it falls on my face

If it's Kindle, usually one hand is fine (left if I use a little niche on the cover to place the hand) or right if my left is tired
If I wanna turn to either side of the bed, I place my Kindle near the pillow that will be used as a support xD

If it's a book, I'll use it in the most classic way possible. Both hands

I like to lay in bed reading and would either use both hands (left hand holding left side and right holding the right bottom) or I would just use my right hand holding the book at the bottom while laying on my side. I rarely lay books down as I read...

I hold paperbacks either with two hands, or one hand with it laying on a table. Harcovers, if thick enough, I leave open on a flat surface and just flip the page when I need to.

I usually like to read laying down on my stomach with my book laying flat in front of me, but when i can't have the option to lay down i usually hold the book with both hands if its a hardback and with one if is a paperback.

I treat my books like a baby. I'm super careful not to bend the spine or cover or pages or the book. I want to keep it in perfect condition.

I've always been really careful about my books, mostly because the first ones I read were my siblings, and they always warned me about bending them. There's something about a good, old book that's still in prime condition.

Many people here would hate me. Paperbacks = I tend to "curve" the opposite side back. Not bend. Curve.
