Have you ever changed your mind as for your favorite book?

Yes, with age my favorite books have changed. I still love each of my favorites for different reasons but my reading choices grow as I do. But I will admit, I can't let go of an old favorite because I found a new one… There is plenty of room on my shelf for both.

All the time! Growing up I went through phases of what genre I liked, who my favorite author was, and what my favorite book was. It was sometimes hard for me to have one favorite book so I normally chose authors that I loved and would read all of their books (which I still do today).

This Is just out of curiosity. Have you ever felt that the book you read years ago and that has been your favourite ever since, is suddenly replaced for another?

Sure I have a new favorite each week, lol. I use the term favorite in books very loosely. I love many many books. I do not have an all time favorite…I have many.

Not for a while no. Although maybe in terms of Genre and Author, my favourite book is still 'The Count of Monte Cristo' by Alexandra Dumas. Excellent book!

Having a favorite book t me is like having a favorite song, you don't actually have a favorite book till you aged a little and matured some, it's like a song, one day you say you'll love it and the next week you could hate it. Your favorite book is something that is precious to you, so it will come in time.

This has happened to me several times. There are just so many worlds to explore through books and whenever I find one that I think is even better than the last, I have to choose it as my favorite.

Yes it happens all the time but I have realized that each book that touched me has its own secured place in my memory. Of course I would easily give out a name on being asked which is my favorite but it will never happen that I will not remember each of my favorites before giving a name.

I think when a more exciting and captivating book comes along... it may question the book you once previously held so dear. I think because I am yet to find the book that has just changed my whole perspective of man kind... I am constantly changing my favorite book. Of course some people have their classics that they wouldn't change for the world but I never really experienced that. I like reading very current material.
