I don't know what this book is. HELP!

So while I was camped out in a Borders because of torrential rain outside, I stumbled upon a book that caught my attention on the shelf. I didn't buy it because I didn't have any money on me, but I don't know the author or the title of the book, so I thought you good people could help me out.

The only thing I know about it from reading the back is that a kid from Australia comes to Hope, Texas for some reason and wants to play football for the high school he's going to. The coach doesn't know if the kid is serious or not but the boy said he's payed rugby before and wants to try it out. I think it was more of an excerpt that they stick on the back instead of an actual summary. But I'd really appreciate it if someone knew what book I was talking about and told me the title or author, or both. It's a young adult book and about football, I'm assuming.

I can remember the damn town it takes place in, but I can't remember the title.
