I think it depends on the book but I think between 300-400 is the perfect amount.

It depends so much on the book, but generally I'd say about three hundred pages.

I've read some books of a 1000 plus pages - but Im not a fast reader, have to be really interested in the book to go for one of those.
On the other hand, under 200 is just too few to really get into the book.
I guess I would say my very loose preference would be 300 - 600ish pages - but will go outside this if its a book I really want to read.

I think it depends if I'm buying the book. If I'm buying the book I want to get my money's worth so I would say between 300-400 pages is good. If I'm borrowing the book or getting it free, then 200 or more is fine.

I am a quick reader so it doesn't matter so much to me.

I really enjoy longer book especially if I love the book. I just dont want the story to end. As far as page number specifically, I dont have a numbef.

I read quickly, so I don't choose or disqualify books based on their length. How long I think a book should be depends on the story - I've read many a crime fiction novel that was okay, but would have been a much better book had it been shorter.
The really good books leave us wanting them to be longer, but that's a different case.

I do not really consider the length of the books I read. However, looking at my book shelf I guess around 300 to 400 pages. More if you count all the pages together in a series.

Usually 300 - 400 pages.
I have feeling "bogged down" by a book. For example, while I loved "The Goldfinch," it took a while to read. In order to help me feel like I am making some progress, I might read a YA or something a bit lighter so that I feel that I am accomplishing something.
I have 3 Ken Follett books on my shelf along with East of Eden. While I am looking forward to them, I will be mixing it up with other books as well when I read them!

I think it all depends. Most of the books I enjoy are 400+ pages, but then I find gems that are only 80 pages long like The Cement Garden by Ian McEwan or 280 pages long like Forbidden by Tabitha Suzuma. For me, it's the quality, not the quantity.

I love reading and I read quite a bit faster than average so I enjoy particularly a lot. About 300-700 depending on the book. I'm ok with 100-200 if I am planning to read the book in about 1-2 hours. If I find that I want a book that will last me let's say 2-4 days then I need on the iPad for it to say over 300 because when you download it, it is usually actually 600.

I am the type of person who likes long books. About 400 to 750 pages with pleasure me. My kindle makes it hard to keep up with what page I am on, but if it is about 300 pages long, the next day I will scour for a new book before my hunger for reading increases.
