Lonesome Dove Saga - What sequence should I read?

A lot of you have read the Lonesome Dove series.

I have not read any of these books or seen any of the movies (I know, I know... Don't say it).

I know that it can be read in either publication or chronological order: Dead Man's Walk (1995), Comanche Moon (1997), Lonesome Dove (1985), Streets of Laredo (1993).

What is your recommendation?
