How long can you read in one sitting?

Unless the book is super interesting and one of those "I-just-can't-put-this-book-down" types, I can't read straight through for more than an hour to an hour and a half. I start getting headaches. Which is why I like to drink tea/coffee and sit and think about the chapter before reading on.

I can read for hours and hours if the book is really good. If it's the type of story I just can't put down, I can spend all day reading it! I sometimes get reading too fast and then I feel like I need to go back and reread in case I missed something too; that happens more the longer I've been reading.

Depends on the book, although I'll always take breaks (make a drink etc. if nothing else).

I think I did two hours in my childhood...and never did it again. I think it was for the fifth Harry Potter book.

I usually read up to an hour, but if a book is interesting enough and I have nothing going on, I'll read all day.

I usually read up to an hour or two and then take a break. More than that will give me a headache. Also I don't have time to read all day long, so I read through out the day whenever I have a free moment.

I have less time to read now than I used to, but I try to read a book that's really grown on me for as long as I can in a sitting. That time span varies greatly from day to day. I have yet to find an author of the now that REALLY grabs me, of whose works I just have to have all, but I'm looking and looking hard. :)

I have been known to spend all day on the couch or in bed reading...so 10-12 hours , maybe 14...sometimes once you are in a book I can not put it down. :-)

It really depends on the type of book it is, if It's something that hasn't got me totally hooked on it I'll probably spend half an hour to and hour, but if It's one of those books that you just can't put down I can stay awake the whole night reading.

I could read an unlimited amount of time in one sitting, by taking the book with me wherever I go. I would read at the dinner table, take it in the bathroom, use an audio book in the car, and read on my breaks at work!

I am constantly reading every chance I get. I have spent all day reading and on into the early morning hours. It just really depends on the book and how much "free" time I have. Even if I don't enjoy the book, I will finish it.
