3D Books

Post by wisar500 »

Hope this post is now visible, tried to post it earlier but without luck...

I am doing a study on the digitalization of books, ebooks already on the market, now also starting to become popular in Europe. But other methods are also there...

This is for example something I found on the Internet, how 3D content is added to a book: http://blog.wired.com/gadgets/2008/10/i ... physi.html

It would be great for my study to hear your comments on the 3D Book!

Thanks!

I think that the concept is great for the education / kids / design sector in order to gain a better understanding of the object in question. The only negative I can see is that you have to lug a camera / computer around to gain the full effect.

I would be interested to see what the effect would be for a text based book, especially one that has a certain obvious rhythm like Kerouac or Dos Passos.
