I don't do diary writing or journaling, and I know when I was younger it also didn't really grab my attention. On this topic I don't have a clear reply. I wat to say yes, but I also want to say no, as I have gone through a lot of self-discovery stuff, fitness journeys, living a better life, etc. And all of them had journaling or diary writing in common to check your progress, backtrack or just to help with a positive mind.

I think that writing a diary is a very important experience. It was coming of age when I was an adolescent. In my adult life, I organize my thoughts around the writing techniques that I learned from writing a diary. It is a solitary ritual that has lasted for a long time. I think that it is here to stay.

I do not think it will ever get outdated. People may transition to writing on computers, but keeping a diary will never be outdated.

Yes, almost paper diaries are outdated nowadays in this digital era. Only about 8% of the population currently keeps a diary.

Yes. Many people have stopped keeping diary again. In fact, I am struggling with it even though I wish I could.

I don't think so. Even in psychological healing methods, writing a diary is considered a good technique to help unravel feelings, sharpen writing skills, and help us understand ourselves.

While diary writing might seem less common in the digital age, it’s definitely not outdated. Many people still find great value in keeping a diary or journal, whether it’s for personal reflection, emotional expression, or simply capturing daily experiences. The average person has a diary

With the advent of technology, diary writing is becoming something of the past. But I believe that to actually move forward in life efficiently, we need to always track our day-to-day progress.

diary writing is getting outdated because nowadays most people are glued on their phones and have little time for writing or are just otherwise busy struggling to survive
