Help me I can't find this book!!!!

Help me I can't find this book!!!!

I read a very risque book when I was younger. Third or fourth grade. Not important.... I remeber the name, "Angelique". I am not sure if I am even spelling the name correctly. I do not know who wrote it and I can't find it anywhere on any book lists....

The book goes from a girl's childhood to her maturity. She witnesses a "buggering" of a young boy. She ends up married to a wealthy man, (i think)... Her nuse maid was up set that a dwarf with a very long tongue was called to the girls bed after she and her new husband consumated the marriage. I remeber the author reffering to her breast a "firm apples". That is absolutly all I remember. I want to find this book very badly. If any one can help me it would be greatly appreciated.

HAH! I cannot believe I know what book you're talking about, but it is The Blood Countess by Andrei Codrescu. I just read it a few months ago and disliked it, even though I liked the idea and history behind it. I can't believe you read that when you were so young, it is pretty heavy!
