This is probably the best by Jack London. This novel tells the story of an enthusiastic young man who tries to reach the affluent society, in spite of his poor educational and social background, and, having achieved his goal, realizes that the ideals of that social class are not that good. Through this book, the author shows a sound knowledge of human behavior, philosophy and sociology.
