Is the bookstore still for sale? If so, what's the asking price?
I get the feeling that brick and mortar bookstores may be going the way of the dinosaurs. I hope I am wrong though.

Not really to be honest- i prefer the pleasure and relaxation involved with browsing a bookshop and looking at all the genres than the financial reality of owning and running a store!

Absolutely. But I wouldn't mind working at a little corner one, not necessarily one like Borders or Barnes and Nobles.
It would be pretty cool in that cozy comfy environment that's pure relaxation.

Oh My would'nt I just ... unfortunately it a bit far away for me & anyway I'd probably be my own best customer.
Bit like an alcoholic owning a pub ... not a great idea!

Haha, but how fun that would be!
You wouldn't have to worry about being kicked out for "topping your limit."

It would be my dream come true to own my own bookstore. Not something big, but a bookstore that sold rare and old books. First editions and signed books. That would be my ultimate job.

I fear that. I am also horrified by these computer book things (sorry, do not know what they called) Although handy for travelling I suppose, I am repulsed by the idea of not having a page to turn. I also like second hand books where you sometimes see notes and like in the margin.
Talking of which the financial margins on boookstores are very tight I think? My favourite is antiquarian / 2nd hand book shops. Can be rather profitable as well if you keep an eye out for hidden treasures.

Book Store Owner? Sure

Hi, I'm just crazy... i read books like anything. In fact, my collection at my home itself is so large as if its a library or a book store. Would definitely like to own a book store one day. Always in company of books... what a great feeling?
