I had bad eyesight anyway, I use bifocals and required by law to use them while driving... Then my optometrist hit me with worse news. I'm getting cataracts. Ugh. No wonder reading on my phone is so tough! And the battery in it is old, got an email from my carrier that says my insurance can an change it out for me. But it's still difficult to see on that screen, so I bought a Samsung Tab S10 FE 5G! It's IP68 has a much bigger screen and much better battery life, and I can literally read on it day or night, sunshine or rain. Plus I got a sturdy case that can survive 15 foot drops and had a kickstand and carrying strap, the works! I'll be reviewing books and finishing my other ones including my Audible collection! I'm curious, what does everyone use to read ebooks when they're not reading paper ones? In my condition, I don't think a paperback is very doable. I need at least a big hardcover or my tablet or audiobooks. And they quit making the Kindle app for Windows 11 so I can't read on there anymore!

Bookshop.org has a reading app! You can buy ebooks from them and choose a local brick and mortar bookstore to give a portion of the profits to. Much more ethical than amazon because it helps small booksellers stay open.
