Tea. Most certainly tea, with some milk and sugar.

I am a coffee lover! My eyes don't even fully open and my brain doesn't turn on until I have that first cup of brew in the morning. Folgers French Roast is my drug of choice, it's not fancy, but it comes in a red container with the fresh seal. When I lift the lid the smell wafts into my senses, it is an unsurpassed sent. Also a little accompaniment of cream and sugar.

I do drink tea ever once and a while, green tea, Twinning's English breakfast, or chai, but nothing can make me stop drinking my cup of joe in the morning.

I drink both. I'm not sure if either one of them have properties for getting my brain to work better at writing. Possibly tea though. If I sit and think about it, tea probably helps much better. Green tea though for me. Lots of green tea. Or Yerba tea, which always worked way better than coffee for me at turning my brain on.

Smoking definitely worked. I no longer smoke either. LOL

Beer occasionally works as well.

I am a self confessed coffee addict. I prepare filter coffee in a plunger using 100% pure ground coffee from "House of Coffees", a local brand. The two flavours I mostly enjoy are, Java Seduction a light roast and Dark Temptation a dark roast. Just love it with muscovado sugar and full cream milk. Each coffee flavoured, caramely, creamy sip provides for a total seduction of the taste buds. I drink it while I read, curled up on the couch, when cuddled up in bed with my kindle at night or when I tap away on the Mac. Not much of a tea drinker, I do however enjoy a cup of Rooibos now and then.

Both and without cream or sugar.

I love loose leaf tea. I have a great variety ranging from matcha green to egyptian chamomile. Who doesn't feel amazing drinking from a tiny tea cup?

I drink coffee to get me through my work shift. I love mine pure and black.

Neither...just alone time with my laptop. Maybe a hot chocolate from time to time. :)

For writing- Coffee with heavy creamer of various flavors.. French Vanilla, Caramel, Irish Cream, Hazelnut while sitting where I can see water.

For reading- That's my down time.. curl up on the front porch in late evening after work with a good book and the adult beverage of choice for the evening.

Tea. I only would ever drink one cup of coffee of the morning, and when I do write - it's at all hours of the day, and so it's tea for anytime after 3pm.

I have recently become obsessed with drinking coffee. But when I'm reading a good book... hot chocolate is the one!

I used to drink coffee but can't anymore

Now I stick to tea which I have found is better anyways. It's better for me and usually when I'm drinking it's just for the warmth and flavor, not for the caffeine. Also there are just so many kinds of tea out there so I can mix it up! This morning I'm having peach cobbler tea, but I've got almost a dozen other kinds in my cupboard.

If I'm at school, I'll usually be pretty loaded on caffeine, thanks to many cups of coffee. I like to keep a constant, low level of caffeine in my blood stream, so I'm not feeling like I need to run around but I'm plenty alert. I like using a lot of creamer and/or fake sugar.

I only drink tea when I'm sick (chamomile) or when I've had too much coffee.

I usually drink my coffee from my "banned books" mug. It has a bunch of classic titles written in colorful, pretty scripts on a black background. It is an awesome mug and I use it for really any beverage (even water) because I love it so much. Every writer needs a favorite mug!

I haven't tried to write with tea but perhaps I should. I tend to go for coffee and it's not very glamorous or involved. Three sugars and a little flavored cream, usually Irish Creme. I'm a slow sipper, too. Usually by the time I finish a cup of coffee it's getting pretty cool, so then it's back to the pot for a top off.
