Really what is the connection between food and love

I find it very easy to cook for someone I love, I would enter the kitchen anytime for my lover. But Other for other people cooking becomes the least in my interests

is it just me or its everyone else

I think that you have to have a desire for cooking in the first place to want to cook for a partner/lover, some people are bad at cooking and therefore the idea of cooking for someone they love (in their head) may end up a disaster and be embarrassing.

I also think, as a person who likes cooking for my loved ones, it does have something to do with giving them something that they can enjoy that you made yourself , although food doesn't last forever you know that you put the effort into making it for that particular person and I think that that is more special at times than a random gift.

I have a great passion for food and cooking. When I like someone the first thing I want to do is share my passions and interests with that person, cooking happens to be that. It is always more fulfilling to cook for someone you adore.

The main linkage between these two themes is that when you love cooking, you’ll be more enthusiastic about we were cooking for him. Sometimes, even though we don’t know how to cook, we still try to because girls do know what boys like -and it’s a food we will prepare, palatable or not.

I think the two go hand in hand because if someone loves you they appreciate things like food

I do love to cook for my husband and for my boys. It makes me happy to see them enjoy the food so much. It isn't quite the same when cooking for just anyone.

Doing something for your lover, including cooking increases the love amongst you.

I find it much more easier to cook for people I love. I feel I shouldn't go through the stress of making food for someone I don't love and who might probably not appreciate my efforts

I love cooking and have a family so I definitely enjoy nourishing my family as a love language. Also, love when my kids enjoy what I make which doesn’t happen all the time 😂

I love to cook for someone I love and I don't find it difficult to do. I'm always happy to cook for my family

I never used to cook much- mostly ramen and easy things like that. But after moving in with my now-fiancé, I started to love to cook for him. He’s a picky eater so making something he loves fills me with joy. Something about providing that happiness and that nourishment for the person I love, making him feel good when mealtime can be a big stressor for him. I cook for myself as often I do him now and of course I love eating good homemade food, but even when I make something for myself and he tries it and likes it I feel proud of myself and very happy. It’s strange but I’m not complaining and neither is he lol

I think I make the best food when it is for my loved ones. If I appreciate the person, I add some emotion to it which makes it better. Hard to exolain to be honest.

I don't like cooking in general and I do it out of obligation. So I don't really feel like wanting to cook for anybody, including myself. I cook because I have to eat and survive and of course, to feed my family and guests that come from time-to-time.

So do I. I enjoy making food for someone I love the most. I think it shows my love to them.
