Nigerian food Combinations

Here's a list of Nigerian food combo that I know of:
1. Amala and ewedu and gbegiri (mostly eaten in south west, Nigeria)
2. Edikaikong and eba
3. Beans and bread/Garri/Pap/Yam
4. Moin Moin and Pap/Garri/bread
5. Ukodo (Yam and chicken combo)
6. Banga and Eba
7. Yam and egg
8. Yam/Potato porridge
9. Pepper soup
10. Ovovoya (Okro Pepper soup)

Some Nigerian food combinations I know of include:
Fried plantain and fried egg
Tuwo and efo riro
(Tuwo is mashed rice eaten in the northern part of Nigeria and efo riro is vegetable soup)

Eastern part of Nigeria food combination.
Grounded cassava flour( fufu)with ogbono/melon soup.
Dried cassava flour(red garri) with oh a soup .

I don't know anything about nigerian food but I've heard of egusi soup, snail soup, and I've always watched people pound yam in Nollywood.

There is also Oha soup, bitter leaf soup, abacha, ukwa, the list goes on. All from South eastern Nigeria

I love amala and egusi soup, but I'm told that's weird. That's never stopped me though.

I don't think it's weird, I'd rather eat amala and egusi soup than eat amala with vegetable soup but amala, ewedu and gbegiri is still the best combination

Nigerians have a fantastic food combination. I know of Yam and fried eggs, Bread and ewa agoyin, Tuwo and gbegiri, pounded yam and egusi and so much more

I'm just hearing of Ukodo for the first time! Off to watch cooking videos and prepare it myself. I'll update you all on how it tastes :lol:

Banga soup and starch popular with people from delta state.

All this sounds weird but I want to eat them. I have tried tomorrow morning and pack and let me tell you that was easily one of the best things I've ever eaten in my life.
